The crew of John Joao and Zachariah did an outstanding job installing the siding on our home. They worked steadily whenever it wasn't raining, with no gaps or delays. I've done a lot of home repair and home improvement projects, and have never experienced the level of workmanship and quality that we got on this job.

It went well from start to finish and I was very impressed with the crew.

I was very impressed construction crew and project manager, especially when there were unexpected problems. Solid State worked in my absence to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Joe Serpa was very responsive and clearly worked well with the construction crew manager, Saulo. The team was pleasant and very hard working. I'm pleased with the work and receive many compliments from neighbors and friends about how good the house looks. Also, my Facebook friends have followed the whole project with interest.

Excellent workmanship and project managers were easy to reach.They did what they said they we're going to do and the end product, a new farmer's porch and new siding, we are very pleased with.

When you find a contractor you love, you want to use them for everything. Please consider adding kitchens and bathrooms to your list of services. In a few years I will be tackling mine. And I'm really not looking forward to finding locating a company for the job. Odds are whoever I end up picking will come up short compared to Solid State!

Residing your house is a big project, and choosing a contractor was more than a little daunting. There are many places were Solid State Construction impressed me. First, the quality of the work was excellent, and my house looks gorgeous now. Second, there were a few hiccups during the project, as is the case in any major project to an old (100+ years) house. Every single time my project manager was honest, forthright, and reasonable and I couldn't be happier with how they dealt with construction issues as they arose. Finally, I called the company back to address one or two small issues, and they were quick to fix any problems I found. I would recommend Solid State Construction to friends without any hesitation.

From the beginning to the end of the project, Solid State Construction gave us the finest service, assurance, quality materials and care that we could have ever of hoped for.

Comments cover a job which involved replacing exterior siding and trim with Hardie products as well as replacement of some existing windows with Andersen 400 series. Overall the job went well and the exterior looks great. The interior trim work around the windows was not quite to the same level of fit and finish, and required some additional work to complete. Interior trim painting was not included in the job. The on-site crew were friendly, responsive and worked quickly. I've already asked Solid State Construction for a quote for an additional job to replace a existing deck.

Phenomenal customer care and attention to detail. I had my roof, siding and trim removed and replaced. The job was conducted in two stages. Both times, the workers and supervisors were extremely prompt, efficient and professional. I would highly recommend this company to any property owner interested in high quality work at a reasonable price.

Solid State resided my house in James Hardy Hardy plank. They did a fantastic job. My house looks brand new and the neighbors are all complimenting us on how nice it looks now. Job was done in estimated time and the whole stafd is friendly and professional!

Overall experiences were nicer than we expected. Project consultant and our project manager was nice. Some construction crews were not good for our projects.

The foreman, Darlan, showed up the night before to drop off equipment that would be needed for the job. The equipment was neatly stacked, roped off in my backyard and out of the way. A dumpster and porta-potty were brought on site. On the first morning a crew came and stripped off all the old cedar shingles on the South side of my home. The project manager, Chris, came several times each day during the installation to check and approve the project. He was always available for any questions/concerns I might have. The foreman was always on the job site and was very helpful. All the nails were hammered into the underlayment after it was checked for integrity. They would have been able to repair any structural problems if found prior to starting the siding, but I had none. It was important that they suggested I remove glassware, etc. from the kitchen cabinets on the other side of the wall, since there was quite a bit of noisy hammering. Nice pro-active suggestion! My air conditioning condenser was covered to protect it. The house was then wrapped with a James Hardie house wrap. The crew cleaned up completely each night before leaving. It took approximately 4 days for the entire installation of the James Hardie shingle paneling since they staggered the shingle panels for a very natural look. This side of my house has many penetrations for electrical, air conditioning, water meter, telephone, and radon. Where each penetration entered the house, they used James Hardie PVC blocking in white. They had an electrician come and reattach my electrical service, plus ensure that all the other services were correctly attached and caulked. Caulking was applied in matching color where the product met the PVC trim and all blocking had proper flashing. During the installation a representative from James Hardie came by to insure that the product was being installed according to their specs. This product looks fabulous and the color match to the rest of my house is so close there is no need for me to have the side painted. At the end of the project, the crew cleaned the site thoroughly, including all the nails. I would definitely use Solid State for additional siding if needed in the future.

This was a very large and multi-faceted job and in the end turned out very well. The products used were high quality and the installation was done with great expertise.
