Good research led me to John Anderson Building Contractor, Inc.First contact was pleasant and John's knowledge on my 100 year old bungalow insured me that we were on the right track.All communication gets handled by his wife Heidi.She made the whole process pleasant and was always available.We love a company that keeps you in the loop and constantly gives you updates.Thank you Heidi !The crew always came on time and respected my request for not damaging our landscaping.At the end of each day they cleaned up thoroughly.Always answering all my questions and concerns as i was walking around several times a day (retired).This crew never gave me the idea that it was a "rush job". More like a lets get it right the first time.We installed a few years ago new windows with another company.The team noticed that the framing was in bad condition/windows bad installed and rather then just covering it up with the new sidings they pulled the widows and reframed all of them.Having used many painters before i can tell you that their painter is fenomenal. John Anderson Building Contractor, Inc. was the perfect pick for me.I would highly recommend them.I do not have things to complain about and these days that's not easy to find.Thank you for taking care of this old lady (100 year old bungalow).

From the time I started working with John and Heidi of John Anderson Building Contractor, Inc., I have always felt that they had our best interests in mind, as if it were their very own home. John is an extremely diligent contractor, and when he says he is going to take care of something, he does. I trust him, and that is a great deal to say about a contractor. In these days, with many scammers out there, it was comforting to know that I was dealing with a company that would back up their promises, do the job right, and treat us fairly. John is very professional, has great knowledge from his years in the business, and cares about the quality of his work. The workers he sent to our our to re-side the entire house were also, very professional, diligent, and respectful when talking with us. Before they left each evening, they cleaned up the jobsite very well. We never had to worry about driving over loose nails, etc. We could not have had anyone more professional, diligent and honest than John Anderson Buiding Contractor, Inc.

We are so very happy with the work that was done by John Anderson. From start to finish, they were thorough, honest and responsive. Our house is now one of the nicest on the block thanks to their quality work.

I cannot say enough good things about John Anderson. From start to finish he and his crew were the definition of "professional." Starting with a comprehensive bid that clearly stated the costs of my siding project to the final follow up and inspections with city inspectors, I could not have been more pleased. He also went above and beyond when he discovered that a previous installation of all of the windows in my home had been done improperly. He actually went to bat for me with the company that did the shoddy work in an attempt to make them honor their warranty. If you want honesty and integrity in a contractor you need to look no further than John Anderson.

It took us about a year and a half to sign a contract with John Anderson. During that time, we met several times with John and obtained estimates from several other contractors. John and Heidi were always available to answer questions. We liked the fact that John did not subcontract out the work; it was performed by his employees. John and his team were always polite and courteous. During our project John and James found several significant problems with our house. They explained what was wrong and the procedures to fix the problems. We appreciated them letting us know about the issues so we could have them repaired. We also appreciate the 5-year warranty on workmanship. Other contractors only offered a 1-year warranty.John and his team went above and beyond. Going with John Anderson was the best decision.

My wife and I are so happy we selected John Anderson Building Contractor. Their work has made our house look phenomenal. They helped us throughout our entire renovation project not only with their precise work but also with their constant guidance on several things, including the perfect size to use for the Hardie Board siding, fascia, & soffit, along with the trim- even down to the decision for us to change the direction of our siding from vertical to horizontal which was much more cost effective & aesthetically pleasing. Everything just looks great. John and his team of workers were very professional and pleasant, always picking up after themselves at the end of every day. It was such an enjoyable & exciting experience watching our home get a beautiful facelift & we owe it to John Anderson Building Contractor for all of their hard work.

By far, the easiest project we have tackled even though it was arguably the largest and most time consuming. John, Heidi, Alex and the rest of the crew went above and beyond our expectations. Communication was great. We were involved on all decisions but also tapped into their experience. At the end of each day, everything was tidied up and if there was a question as to how something should be stored, the crew always asked. They were a great group of guys. We also used some of Johns subcontractors for related projects and were impressed by them. It is obvious that John has high expectations for his employees and anyone he works with. He wants each project to be perfection and I think they achieved that with our home!

Would highly recommend them. Honest, straight forward and accessible and more than willing to fix things that they weren’t responsible for

I contacted John Anderson from a Angie's List search of contractors who work on siding and windows. John's reviews were all top notch, and I can see why. He is very knowledgeable, and me not knowing everything about the process, filled in all the gaps I had with ease. The quote delivered was very concise and included many options for materials which helped keep the project exactly within the budget I had. Once work began, his crew (all his employees) worked very quickly and made sure to keep the site as neat as possible each day. Even with rain delays, the crew was able to finish up ahead of their estimated completion. You could tell they enjoyed working for John, and it showed in their pride of workmanship. I am very satisfied with the end result!

From the moment we met John, we felt comfortable with him. He was very thorough and attentive to our needs. His proposal was very detailed and gave us options based on different price levels. He delivered on 100% of his promises and did so in a timely manner. When we did hit a snag, John didn't try and move the blame away from himself or his crew.....he just rolled up his sleeves and came up with realistic solutions that didn't break the bank. After working with him, we truly feel he has genuine compassion for his customers. His wife Heidi runs the show from the office and is just as highly professional as John. They are a great team. The staff that worked on our house was fantastic. We had the same guys all the way through, and they are all John's employees.....not day laborers. The bottom line is that we would highly recommend John Anderson and would use them again in a heartbeat.

John and Heidi did a great job throughout the entire process. I had put this project on hold for two years and after two years they still were in tune to my project. The Hardie board siding and trim looks great and you would have never know they were there. I couldn't be more pleased with the new look of our home and the great job the crew did on site. Everything was cleaned up properly and neat at the end of each day. Truly a professionally run business that shows they take pride in their work.

Great experience overall with the John Anderson team. I received samples from them to pick from and the initial turn around on the quote was quick. Start time for the project couldn't come soon enough but that's because John Anderson is much requested.The installation was efficient, clean and safe and took less time then anticipated. The end product looks great.

Our HOA met with John Anderson after having interviewed a number of other companies, and there was absolutely no comparison. Based on just our initial communications with both John and Heidi, we knew that they were the right company for the job. They are true professionals, and their product knowledge and technical expertise is unmatched. Ours was a complex three-month project, installing Hardie board and new stainless steel flashing on our six-townhouse complex. Their proposal was clear, concise and fair, and every expectation was met or exceeded - they even finished the project ahead of schedule. The crew, led by Jamie, were polite and courteous, and the worksite was cleaned at the end of each day. Our building now looks amazing! If you are considering installing Hardie board, you owe it to yourself to hire John Anderson.

Our job was one of the most complex. It involved the extensive replacement and repair of beams and soffits on a craftsman bungalow. The roof angles were complex, and much damage was hidden. Complicating things, we had to re-roof at the same time. As with any major undertaking like this, there were many issues to be resolved, and the job did not go without issues. However, Mr. Anderson was immediately responsive when any issue arose. He came to our home on Thanksgiving with one of the carpenters on his crew to fix a massive ceiling leak that was not even their fault. I also have to compliment his extremely skilled crew. Their knowledge and their carpentry are rare finds in the construction world. Once they left, we had the feeling that they could pretty much handle any job.

The JAC team brings to the table the right product, installation knowledge and technical expertise of true professionals. My project entailed the replacement of all the windows, doors, sliders, siding and trim on an elevated ranch style home. There pricing was slightly higher (<5%) than the other 3 contractors I was looking at, but after interviewing them all, there was no doubt that JAC was the right choice. John clearly explained the entire process in detail during the discovery phase, where the other contractors gave me vague explanations that I could see would lead to "change orders" once the project started. The JAC proposal was clear, concise and fair, and every expectation was meet. John's wife Heidi runs the office side, and dealing with her a pleasure. She always kept me up to date on the project, and responded to any communications in a timely fashion. I can't praise enough the installation crew of Grady, Bob and Jose. They were very personable, easy to talk with, and always took the time to answer any questions I had. I had helped a friend install Hardie board on his garage last summer, so I thought I knew a lot about the process...boy was I wrong!!! I learned very quickly that you should leave this job to "the professionals", and JAC certainly lived up to it. I would highly recommend JAC to others that are considering Hardie board siding and trim. I don't have a single negative thing to say about the Hardie product and the JAC installation. My only advice, don't bother wasting time talking to the other local contractors. The are like dealing with 'used car salesman'. Go right to JAC.
