There's no small amount of anxiety that goes along with starting a major home improvement project -- in this case, re-siding my entire house with Hardie plank and replacing the rotted trim and soffit/fascia. Knowing this would be a large (and expensive) job, I started out by getting estimates from 3 contractors who were highly rated on Angie's List. The decision to choose Carolina Exteriors was easy. Not only was the estimate the lowest of the three, it was extremely detailed and by far the most professionally presented, with helpful information and a clearly laid out payment plan. Clifton (the owner) scheduled time with me to review everything in the estimate and patiently answered my long list of questions, even providing me a list of homes he had done with different Hardie ColorPlus siding to help me choose my color selections. Before and during the lengthy job, all questions I had were quickly answered, either by email, text or phone call. Jeff the project manager was at the house daily checking on the crew and laying out the day's work. I could count on a daily communication from him about the day's progress and any issues. If there were additional areas identified for repair, he would text me a photo so I would know exactly what he was looking at and could approve the additional work. The communication was excellent throughout the project and the quality of the work was first-rate. The job site was cleaned up each day to the extent possible. After the job was finished I received a booklet with all the warranty and care/maintenance info in one place. I will likely have to replace my roof within the next 1-2 years and will be calling Carolina Exteriors again. I was very pleased with all aspects of my home improvement project with them and would highly recommend them to anyone considering exterior work on their home. The focus on outstanding service and customer satisfaction was apparent in every interaction.
