Working with Sunshine was an overall good experience. I don't easily trust contractors with my money, but Sunshine did not let me down. The work is beautiful, quality of product used exceeded my expectations, the technicians were quick, clean and experienced and I was kept updated on scheduling and day by day, step by step procedures.

Great staff, very understanding. Helped us throughout the design and selection of the product. Communication was constant, fast and courteous.

Our exterior renovation project with Sunshine Contracting was a fantastic experience! Every step in the process was handled with great attention to detail, from the design through final installation. We did a full exterior renovation, roof, windows, doors and siding. Their crews are highly skilled and take great care/pride in their work. We have received so many compliments on the total transformation of our house, it looks amazing! High quality materials, managers and install crews…you can’t ask for a better renovation experience!

Sunshine Contracting did an excellent job replacing the siding, facia, rakes and frieze boards with James Hardie planks and installed new stainless gutters. The house looks like new construction!

The salesperson / company president lied to me and didn't follow what was specifically in the contract. They have failed to call me back to resolve the issue.

Sunshine did a great job with our siding replacement from sale to execution. Communication during the replacement was excellent. Issues/unknowns that arose were discussed and solved quickly by the team. Great work all around.

We had Sunshine Contracting replace our roof and siding. They did an excellent job and we are extremely pleased with the results. Would recommend them to anyone.

Extremely Satisfied with all aspects of Sunshine Contractors interaction on the James Hardie complete wrap and gutter replacement. Would not hesitate to recommend to a friend or neighbor. Wish I had used them on some other home projects.

We were a little nervous at first, as this was the largest project, to include cost, we’ve completed at our home! My wife and I did our due diligence, gathering three quotes, vetting them on Angie’s List and James Hardie preferred contractor website. In the end, we chose Sunshine, without hesitation, as Ryan Sabo was not just an awesome salesman but a truly knowledgeable contractor! After signing the contract, the project timeline was turned over to AJ and Nate who made sure manpower and material moved on schedule. In the end Sunshine delivered! My James Hardie Boothbay Blue home looks like it belongs in Potomac MD not Dale City VA😊

I am very happy with the final result of my siding installation. Working with Sunshine Contracting was good. They were responsive to my requests. The workmen were very professional.

This was simply the best experience I've had with a home improvement contractor in 45 years of home ownership. I had a full exterior makeover with a new roof, siding, replacement of all trim, gutters and shutters. Sunshine provided expert/professional advice from start to finish. They did exactly what they said the would do in the time they said it would done. I was especially impressed with the two way communication between myself and siding and roofing supervisors. Every question was answered succinctly, competently and without delay. The team of Nate and Elie went above and beyond the requirements to make this a very rewarding experience and my house looks fantastic. That was really the goal of the goal of the renovation and I could not be more satisfied with the outcome. I'm strongly recommending Sunshine Contracting to all my friends and neighbors. It's a great company with great people working for it.

This was our first time using Sunshine Contracting for our home renovation needs. I looked at several different proposals, but ultimately chose Sunshine Contracting to update our siding/trim, gutters/downspouts, sliding glass door and windows. To say that we are happy we did is an understatement…”ecstatic or thrilled” better describe our feelings about the end result. Sunshine Contracting provided everything that we expected and more.

Easy to work with and work is done in a professional manner. Project managers are very responsive to questions and helpful in understand how the project will be accomplished.

I am happy to give Sunshine Contracting a five-star rating. They replaced the cedar siding on our townhome in Reston with HardiePlank (we also got new trim, of course, and gutters). Ryan and Nate were knowledgeable and helpful in working out the contract, and after we signed, Nate continued to be responsive to any request we made. We feel the price we agreed upon was fair for the amount and quality of work done, and two other owners in our four-home building have already engaged Sunshine for siding work. Everyone at Sunshine was quite accommodating throughout the entire project (for example, arranging the delivery of materials so we could continue to use our garage); they also showed considerable sensitivity to the potential issues of working in a townhome community. A couple of unexpected surprises were handled well, and the construction crew was polite, pleasant, professional, and hard-working (even in some very cold weather). All of our questions and concerns were responded to quickly, and the quality of the workmanship (even some "above and beyond" the contract) was outstanding. All in all, especially given the bad reputation so many contractors have, my wife and I have no reservations at all about recommending Sunshine Contracting.

We had Hardie board siding installed and they did a great job and exceeded our expectations. We had certain requests and demands and Sunshine's management and workers were able to fulfill them all. 😊
