This project - replacing the aluminum siding on my house with Hardie board siding took well over six months from meeting with the sales person to completion. I first met with the sales person in June 2014 and we made selections and were told he would contact us with an estimate. Over six weeks later, not having heard from him, I called the company and was told he would contact us which he did a week later. We made final selections and agreed to the charges, paid a deposit (now early August 2014) and were told the project would be completed by the end of September 2014. Nothing happened so I called them on the last week of September and was told no supplies had been ordered - in essence the whole thing had been forgotten. Apologies were made and I was told that materials would be ordered. Next step, the week of Thanksgiving I was told they would begin working, which they finally did. However, additional materials that should have been ordered had not, so the project lingered on until late January 2015 when it was completed. (In truth, there were some delays due to weather.) We had been told that the ground would be kept clean but continuously found metal parts including screws and nails in the driveway and around the house. Materials were stacked in the driveway for months limiting access to the garage. Materials stacked on the lawn resulted in damage to the lawn. Having said all that, the quality of the siding and the overall workmanship appear to be at least adequate.
